Setting Up User Profiles

In order to define the user profiles, you will need to first complete the following steps to get the data onto our platfom:

  • Setup tracking (basic or advanced)
  • Enable our platform to access your downstream metrics data source (potential locations: spreadsheet import, CRM connection, or Metabase table)

There are currently three sections with the User Profile configuration, each with a different data source which you will be able to select and define

  • Profile - These are general required identification fields such as created data, email address, user ID, or name. This information can be extracted from your downstream metrics data source.
  • Attributes - These are descriptive fields such as qualification status, eligibility, and conversion date. This information can be extracted from your downstream metrics data source or an enhanced version of your downstream metrics data which combines other data sources.
  • Tracking - These fields are taken from the tracking code implementation on all your website pages. If selected, you can extract parameters captured during the users’ visits, essentially enabling you to document the user journey.

Follow these steps to setup your User Profiles:

  1. Click on the “Settings” icon in the “Account and Settings” section on the bottom left of the left sidebar.
  2. On the “Settings” page, click on “Profile” button. The button should change to a purple color once it has been selected.

  3. Organization - This should already be selected by default to your organization
  4. Source Type - These are the three sections outlined above. In order to fully leverage our platform, we recommend setting up all three sections, one by one.

    1. Profile Source:
